Light On participates in São Paulo Ocean Week 2026

The Light On project was part of São Paulo Ocean Week 2026, one of Brazil’s leading events focused on the ocean, sustainability, education, and environmental awareness.

The invitation was made by Professor Turra and Eduardo Anastasi, who are also connected to Rio Ocean Week, where Naomi Costa had previously participated as a speaker.

During the event, Naomi shared more about the development process behind the animated short film Light On, addressing themes related to the ocean, polar ecosystems, health, well-being, human connection, and creative entrepreneurship.

The presentation also explored how ideas can move beyond imagination and create real impact through art, communication, education, and meaningful human connections.

Participating in events like this plays an important role in the journey of Light On, allowing the project to connect with diverse audiences — from students, researchers, and institutions to professionals in sustainability, technology, innovation, and the creative industries.

More than presenting a film currently in development, these experiences help build a growing community connected to the project’s values and its conversations around the ocean, purpose, and social transformation.

More special content and event highlights will be shared soon.
